Team Fortress 2: ETF2L Saffron Cup (Drama Llama!) By TEZC on 14 April 2012 at 8:06 amThis Tuesday we played in the ETF2L Saffron Cup, we we're eventually eliminated by a mix team that consisted of players from Division 1 team eQ. What has transpired since the cup has been nothing short of E-Sports Drama.
Our match vs batdog has been granted to us as a default win, and we have been entered back in to the cup to play the team who were eliminated in the previous round by batdog (NWA). All of this is as a result of players from eQ using other player’s accounts from lower division to ensure that they could field more players from their roster then was actually allowed.
The punishment has not stopped with a mere removal from the cup; all players who participated in this farce have been banned from ETF2L for a year. This will make Prem interesting next season as eQ were in prime spot to be promoted.
